Frequently asked questions.
Do they Affect tone?
Do They Leave Residue?
Do they Affect Tone?
No. The decals are made from thin vinyl and sit on the fretboard between the frets, away from the vibrating portion of the strings. When properly installed, they do not affect your guitar’s tone, sustain, intonation or playability—you’ll simply get a completely new look.
2. Will the stickers damage my fretboard or leave residue ?
No. Our decals are made to be fretboard-safe and won’t harm the finish on your instrument or leave any residue.
3. How do I make sure the stickers fit my guitar?
Every set is custom-sized specifically for your instrument. Simply enter the exact make and model of your guitar or bass when ordering, and we’ll account for its scale length, fret count and fretboard dimensions. We can accommodate standard guitars, basses, 7- and 8-strings, baritones, multiscale instruments and unusual fretboards. If we need any additional measurements, we’ll contact you before making your set.
4. Are the stickers reusable?
They’re designed for one-time application, but you can remove and reposition them during installation if needed.
If you fully remove them, we recommend ordering a fresh set for the best fit and adhesion.
5. Can I apply them myself?
Yes! You don’t need any special tools — just a clean fretboard.
Each set comes with step-by-step instructions.
6. What types of guitars do you support?
We support nearly any fretted guitar or bass, including electric, acoustic, classical, 6-string, 7- and 8-string, 12-string, baritone, short-scale, extended-range and multiscale instruments. Every decal set is custom-sized for your instrument’s exact make and model, so unusual scale lengths and fretboard dimensions are no problem. If we need any additional measurements, we’ll contact you before making your set.
7. How long will my order take to ship?
Every set is made to order. Production time is typically 2–3 business days,
and shipping via USPS Ground Advantage takes 3–5 business days within the U.S.
8. Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we currently ship to most countries.
International shipping times vary (typically 1–3 weeks depending on location).
All rates are calculated automatically at checkout.
9. What if my sticker doesn’t fit perfectly?
We want every set to fit like a glove!
If something isn’t quite right, reach out to us with a photo and your order details —
we’ll review your case and work with you to find a solution, including replacement options if needed.
10. Can I order a custom design?

11. How do I clean the fretboard with stickers on it?
Just wipe gently with a dry or slightly damp cloth — no alcohol or solvents.
For deep cleaning, simply peel off the stickers first, clean, and reapply or replace them.
12. What is your return policy?
Because each set is custom-cut, we can’t accept standard returns.
However, if your order arrives damaged, contact us within 7 days of delivery —
we’ll make it right with a replacement or refund.
